ServerOrigin has been continuously working tickets regarding packet loss and intermittent connectivity. After several hours of continued packet loss seen by customers and internal support, we have finally pinpointed several key areas with the most impact. None of the packet loss is originating or being caused by an actual issue with the ServerOrigin/ethProxy network or infrastructure.

As early as 1AM CDT we were seeing the issue begin to unfold and as seen by the neutral third-party monitor: InternetTrafficReport.Com the United States alone is seeing as high as 25-30% Packet Loss

As of this time 17:26 CDT – The issue still remains and continued packet loss is seen. We see it on our VPN’s from Florida to California and technicians are reporting connectivity issues even on their cell-phones in Los Angeles.

Please open a ticket if you see issues you believe to be unrelated as we sadly cannot resolve this issue ourselves since it is an issue unrelated to us and outside of our control. We will continue to monitor and continue to work each ticket that is placed to verify any problems.

We know it’s frustrating, it certainly is for us as well to work in a situation where there is so much packet loss. However, this is the internet and sometimes this is simply unavoidable.
